In short: TopSkills Postiz is a self-hosted social media scheduling tool used to plan, schedule and publish short-form video content to connected social accounts. By using it, its operators agree to these Terms.

1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of TopSkills Postiz ("the tool"), a self-hosted social media scheduling application, built on the open-source Postiz engine and operated by the team behind the TopSkills MD channel. By using the tool, its operators agree to these Terms.

2. Authorized use

Access to the tool is protected behind authentication and limited to its authorized operators. Operators connect their own social accounts and are responsible for the content they schedule and publish through the tool.

3. Purpose of the tool

The tool is used solely to:

Connect the social accounts you authorize (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram).
Schedule, manage and publish your own short-form video content.
Configure post settings such as captions, privacy level, comments, Duet and Stitch.

4. Use of platform APIs

The tool integrates with official platform APIs, including TikTok's Login Kit and Content Posting API. When using the tool, operators agree to comply with the applicable terms, policies and developer guidelines of each connected platform, including TikTok's Developer Terms and Community Guidelines. The tool will only be used to publish content that the account owner is authorized to publish.

5. Acceptable use

Operators agree not to use the tool to:

Publish content that violates the policies of any connected platform.
Access or attempt to access accounts or data the operator does not own or control.
Use the tool in any unlawful manner or in violation of third-party rights.

6. Content ownership

All content published through the tool is created or owned by the operator, or used with proper authorization. Responsibility for published content rests with the operator.

7. Availability

Because the tool is self-hosted and maintained by our team, it is provided "as is" without any guarantee of availability, uptime, or fitness for a particular purpose. The operators may modify, suspend, or discontinue the tool at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the tool and its operators are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the tool or from interactions with third-party platforms.

9. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
